So About Those Delicious Bookmarks

By leelefever on June 26, 2007 - 11:52am.

Perhaps some of you may be thinking "Why did Lee make such a big deal about adding del.icio.us bookmarks to his RSS feed and then stop bookmarking completely?"

The answer is that I've been scared to. At some point a few weeks ago, Feedburner's Linksplicer (the tool that adds the bookmarks to the RSS feed) added some goofy characters to the feed and made it invalid - broken in a minor way.

If finally got this fixed (thanks to Feedburner's responsive support folks) and now I'm a little gun-shy. The bookmarked items will come back soon, I just want to make sure my feed stays valid along the way. We all need more validation, right?

Delicious, Digg, etc.

Reading this entry reminded me that I still don't really understand del.icio.us, Digg, and the other things that seem to be gaining use and importance. Care to make a paperworks about then? :) I can't be the only one who hasn't taken this particular plunge yet.

So True

Yes, I agree that things like delicious and digg are ripe for a paperworks video and I assure you they are on the list. It's kind of funny, but I realized when writing this entry that is wasn't in plain english. But, I suppose that I can't really expect to communicate that way in every respect.

Delicious, Digg, etc.

Yes, you made my day, even though I've been told I'm doing great with my blogging progress, truth is I'm ready to swear..all the time. I'm 60 started my blog http://grammology.com in January of this year, just started blogging two months ago, and I make more mistakes than I can count. Help..Delicious, Digg, and Stumble, are still Greek, although I'm commenting in all. What a riot..thank you for admitting what I've been saying as well.
